While African football lovers are yet to get over the death of a male cameroonian footballer, another one has passed away on the pitch.

Barely two days after Cameroonian midfielder Patrick Ekeng collapsed and died during a match of the Championship of Romania, the Cameroonian Football Federation has been struck by yet another tragedy.

The Cameroon football federation (Fecafoot) announced on Sunday, May 8, the passing of the goalie of the Femina Stars of Ebolowa, Jeanine Christelle Djomnang, during a first division match against club de Louves Minproff.

According to Cameroononline, the young woman collapsed during warm-up and died few minutes later.
