Tougher days are ahead for the embattled former Aviation Minister who was arrested by the EFCC over money he received for the prosecution of the Presidential election last year.

Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode

Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode is in for a tough time as the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, yesterday, questioned the spokesman of Goodluck Jonathan Campaign Organisation for hours, asking him to return the N840 million he allegedly received for the prosecution of the Presidential election last year.

Vanguard reports that Fani-Kayode had insisted that he got the money to do specific assignments given him by the former President and does not see reason why he should refund it since it was legitimately given to him for work done.

The former minister is being held in EFCC custody after arriving there yesterday.
