Shocked eyewitnesses were left dumbfounded after a couple climbed a rooftop to have passionate s*x just next to a school in the city of Kirov in central Russia's Kirov Oblast region.
According to Dailystar, people got angry over the incident as they said innocent school children could have easily seen the indecent act.
It sparked an angry debate online after one witness photographed the couple on his smartphone and posted the images to a local internet forum.
The photographs, which were featured on a page called Angry Citizens of Kirov was met with wide outrage.
Many felt disgusted that the s*x act was performed in the open.
Netizen Anna said: "I think this is incredibly vulgar and outrageous. What if some of the kids from school saw this?"
But Natalia argued: "Why not? I think it is important that others don’t see it but, other than that, it's a great way to add something new in your relationship."
Police spokesperson Anna Shabalina said it was unlikely the couple would be charged as it was too difficult to positively identify them from the pictures.
But she added: "If their display shocked people they should have called the police straight away. Then our officers could have dealt with it."
