A video has shown a really shocking scenario where a woman was executed right there in the open after a sham trial by the Taliban.
The video which was released on terrorist channels showed the harrowing execution of a woman who was accused of killing her husband.
She was hauled in front of a Taliban court in Afghanistan and it is not clear what evidence there was of her crime.
Within seconds of her conviction she is forced to sit on the floor wearing a blue burka covering her face.
As the footage shows a crowd, including members of her husband's family, are gathering around, shouting and cheering for her to be killed.
The masses then start to spread out as the gunman takes aim at her head.
She is then shot and falls to the floor, dying a few moments later.
Colonel Abdul Hafeez, deputy police chief of Jowzjan Province, said the victim's identity was not known.
He said authorities believed the video was genuine and that the killing took place in the Khanaqa district.
He also believed the executioner, who had his face covered, was the district's Taliban commander.
