Update: Three Arrested For Flogging Salesgirl Suspected Of Theft In Lagos Boutique (Photo)

The arrest followed public outrage over the trending video showing the young lady being flogged and molested by several men allegedly on the order of the owner of Don Maserati Classic Boutique, who accused the victim, an employee, of theft.


 

Three suspects who were seen in a video flogging a young lady at Don Maserati Classic Boutique on Lagos Island in the State have been arrested.

A video that went viral over the weekend showed the men flogging the salesgirl who was accused of theft at the boutique.

The Police, however, said it was making efforts to arrest others involved in the assault while it was also making efforts to establish contact with the victim.

The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the Lagos State Police Command, CSP Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the arrest of the as@ulters through his official handle on X (formerly Twitter).

“Three suspects have been arrested, while efforts are on to apprehend other suspects and establish contact with the victim. The Commissioner of Police, CP Olanrewaju Ishola, also assured Lagosians of justice, Justice will be served
