It was learnt that the POS operator promptly put the vigilante on alert when he suspected a foul play as the criminals made attempts to scam her.
Operatives of the Oghareki Vigilante Group in Oghara, Ethiope-West Local Government Area of Delta State, have arrested two suspected fraudsters who attempted to defraud a POS operator with fake alert.
The suspects were arrested on Tuesday, 14th January 2025, DAILY POST can report.
It was learnt that the POS operator promptly put the vigilante on alert when he suspected a foul play as the criminals made attempts to scam her.
The vigilante rounded the fraudsters up and gave them the beating of their lives before handing over to the police.
It was also gathered that the fraudsters usually come from Agbor to Oghara, and go from one POS operator to the other, defrauding them with fake alerts.
