Latest reports have claimed that the alleged lover of woman murdered by her husband in Egbeda has ran aweay.
Lekan and wife, Ronke Shonde
The Managing Director of a publishing firm in Ikeja who was allegedly having a passionate time with Lekan Shonde's wife has allegedly absconded since the news of his secret love affair was made public.
Mrs. Ronke Shonde was allegedly beaten to death by her husband at their Egbeda home in Lagos, last week, after he accused her of having a romantic affair with the unnamed Managing Director of the publishing firm she worked at.
According to Vanguard, the unnamed secret lover has failed to report at the office since Monday. It was gathered after a visit to the office located on the ground floor of a two-storey building on Talabi Street, Ikeja, yesterday, revealed that the publishing firm’s MD was absent.
Ronke's husband has insisted after police interrogation that the wife was having a sexual affair with the Managing Director of her firm which many had suggested was why the man killed her.
According to the husband, he revealed that he overheard a conversation between the two about their recent sexual rendezvous in Abuja which later resulted in a quarrel that later saw the death of Ronke.
