Stolen Car Recovered, 2 Suspects Arrested In Adamawa

The Adamawa State Police Command said on Wednesday that it recovered the stolen vehicle and apprehended the two key suspects following an investigation that began on December 23, 2024.

This followed a complaint from one Mr Aliyu Umar of Wuro Hausa, Yola South Local Government Area, that his Toyota RAV4, with registration number RSH 548 BB, had been stolen.

“The Commissioner of Police, CP Dankombo Morris, deployed police detectives led by DPO Yola, SP Habib Muhammed Musa, who arrested the suspects and recovered the vehicle,”
the police command said in a statement signed by its spokesman, SP Suleiman Nguroje.

The suspects are Yusuf Mohammed Isah, 25 years old, a resident of Wuro Hausa, Yola South Local Government Area, and Faisal Mahmud, 30 years old, a resident of Kolere Ward, Mubi North LGA.

The command, which said the suspects are now in custody and aiding the investigation for further recoveries, assured residents of its commitment to ensuring that the law takes its course in the matter.

“The suspects will be diligently prosecuted upon completion of the investigation,” the police added.
