In a heartfelt tribute, Stella Maris Okafor, Mr. Ibu’s widow, expressed her sincere thanks for the recognition.
Late Nigerian actor, John Okafor aka Mr. Ibu has been given a posthumous award.
The award was given to him at the third Humour Awards.
Ibu who passed away last year was represented by his wife, Stella Maris Okafor.
Standing in for her late husband, Mr. Ibu’s widow expressed her sincere thanks for the recognition.
“People love him so much. People try to replicate his style” she added.
The widow expressed her gratitude to the Humour Awards organizers for keeping her husband’s legacy alive.
