The last bad news Nigerians are willing to hear is another bomb blast by Boko Haram in the face of the unprecedented removal of fuel subsidy that has thrown the masses into shock.

A heavy explosion has rocked the busy Musa Usman Secretariat main Gate in Maiduguri, the Borno state capital, Vanguard reports.

The incident happened at about 11:40am Thursday, left two dead and scores injured sources said.

The area has since been condoned off by military troops and men of the Civilian JTF. Just yesterday a suicide bomber killed himself in an attempt to enter a mosque in Maiduguri, leaving 6 people injured.

The details of the reports are still sketchy as Nigerians gradually wake up to the reality of the removal of fuel subsidy by the government which will be accompanied by untold economic hardship on the people.
