The Adamawa State Police Command has confirmed that no casualties were recorded in the fire outbreak at the MRS filling station at Batchure Junction, along Numan Road, on Tuesday.

They credited the prompt intervention of firefighters and the police operational unit for successfully bringing the fire under control.
“The Adamawa State Police Command commenced investigation into the fire incident that affected MRS filling station, Batchure junction, along Numan road tonight.
“The immediate response from the command’s operational unit and that of firefighters brought the fire under control,” the statement read.
Commissioner of Police, CP Dankombo Morris, assured residents of the command’s commitment to safeguarding lives and property while encouraging anyone with useful information to come forward.
This incident follows a similar fire outbreak at a filling station in Dutse, Jigawa State, on January 31, 2025. Recent fuel tanker explosions in Niger and Enugu states have resulted in multiple casualties and injuries, raising concerns over safety measures across the country.
