Nigerian Government Resumes Collection Of Access Gate Fee At Abuja Airport

The Federal Government made this known through the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, FAAN, on Saturday.

The Nigerian government has reinstated the collection of access gate fees at Abuja International Airport.

The Federal Government made this known through the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, FAAN, on Saturday.

Announcing the development in public notice shared on its official X, FAAN said the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport’s access gate fees take effect on Saturday February 8, 2025.

“The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, FAAN, wishes to inform the general public that the authority has officially resumed collection of access gate fees at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja at 8:30am, 8th February, 2025″.


Recall that the gate fee was suspended on January 24 2025, to cushion the traffic burden on airport road users.
