Domestic Violence: The Only Instruments Approved In B3ating Your Wife Are 'Rods, Third Leg, Money And Alerts' - Internal Revenue Director Says

Mr Leo Umana, the Executive Director of the Akwa Ibom State Internal Revenue Service (AKIRS),  has kicked against domestic violence in marriages.

He emphasized the need for couples to go their separate ways if they can no longer live in peace.

Mr. Umana stated this in reaction to the domestic violence allegations levelled against Uyo wedding journalist, Isaac Mefo, by his wife, Evelyn.

“If the love is no more there, don't turn violence and kill yourselves. You can separate for a while and return when peace is restored. Say no to domestic violence,” he wrote.

“No Man should beat a woman with his hands or sticks. The only instruments approved in beating her are Rods, third leg, money and alerts.”
