Gov. Amosun Storms the Scene of Collapse Building in Abeokuta to Assess Damage (Photos)

Following the tragic collapse of a building said to be a shopping complex under construction in Ogun, the state governor has swiftly appeared at the site.

The Ogun state governor, Ibikunle Amosun, visited the scene of the four storey building shopping mall which collapsed at Itokun Abeokuta in Ogun state this morning. 
 
According to a statement by the governor, 16 workers were on site when the incident happened and they have all been accounted for. 
 
 
Efforts to clear the rubbles at the collapsed building site are ongoing and the government claims that there are no casualties.
 
According to a statement released, records from the site engineers indicated that there were 16 workers on site at the time of the incident and they have all been accounted for.
