Police Arrest Two Suspected Cultists In Lagos

They were apprehended around 4:00 a.m. on Monday, 11th February while they were returning from their confraternity’s annual conference at a hotel located in Lekki.

Two suspected cult members have been arrested by the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) of the Lagos State Police Command.

RRS disclosed this in a statement on Thursday, February 13, 2025.
 
According to the statement, the suspects identified as Okey Bright, popularly called “B in Fine Boy", 21, and Daniel Prince, 22, were apprehended around 4:00 a.m. on Monday, 11th February while they were returning from their confraternity’s annual conference at a hotel (name withheld) located in Lekki.
 
“Preliminary investigations revealed that Bright, a resident of Ikoyi, joined the confraternity in 2024. He is a university student,
” the statement read.
 
"Prince, who goes by the alias "Rugged Promotion", is a hair stylist and a university student.
 
"Their arrest was prompted by the suspicious movement of one of the suspects, Daniel Prince, who was carrying a cross bag.
 
"In Prince’s bag, the operatives discovered caps associated with the confraternity, leading to the immediate arrest of both suspects.
 
"The arrest reinforces the ongoing efforts of the State Command to curb cult related activities and maintain law and order in the State.
 
“The suspects have been transferred to CP’s Special Squad for further investigations.”
