American rapper, Travis Scott has been slammed with a lawsuit by a man who claims he was injured by one of the rapper’s security guards, though Scott’s representatives are dismissing the case as baseless.

According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, Omar Muhanna alleges that on August 17, 2024, in Manhattan, a security guard employed by Scott made violent physical contact with him outside a concert venue where the rapper was performing. Muhanna claims he did nothing to provoke the alleged ass@ult and says it resulted in serious and permanent injuries.

Scott was in Manhattan that day for Fanatics Fest at the Javits Center, but Muhanna alleges the incident occurred a few blocks away.

A representative for Scott has denied the claims, stating that the rapper was inside a restaurant at the time and was not present during the alleged altercation.

The lawsuit does not accuse Scott of direct involvement but holds him responsible for hiring the security company that employed the guard in question. Muhanna argues that the guard had a history of violent behavior and that Scott should not have hired him.

Scott’s team has dismissed the lawsuit as frivolous, while Muhanna is seeking damages.
