The level of physical fitness of the officials of the Nigerian Police Force has come under probe once more with the emergence of a picture of a heavily pot-bellied officer.

Nigerians on social media have been trending the picture of an unnamed police officer with a very massive pot-belly which has been described as the 'mother of all pot-bellies' in the police force.
Some top commenters have attributed this anomaly to the indiscriminate alcohol intake as well as lack of regular physical exercise among police officers which has made them unfit in the delivery of their duties.
Another commenter attributed the irregular physical shape to the reason why the fight against Boko Haram which falls under issues of internal security has been left in the hands of Nigerian soldiers who are constitutionally backed to attend to external aggression.
