Former Senator Representing Kaduna Central Senatorial District, Shehu Sani has taken to social media to mourn the passing of Chief Edwin Clark.
Recall that Clark died on Tuesday. Sani mourned Clark on Tuesday vis his Facebook page.
“Chief Edwin Clark; the nation has lost a great and distinguished Elder statesman. He was a champion for the cause of unity, peace, equity and justice. A restless voice of reason. May his soul rest in peace.Ameen.”
Recall that the family of the 97 years old, former Federal Commissioner for Information and South-South announced the leader’s death as confirmed in a statement by a representatives of the family, Prof C. C. Go Clark, on Tuesday.
The statement read, “The Clark-Fuludu Bekederemo family of Kiagbodo Town, Delta State, wishes to announce the passing of Chief (Dr.) Sen. Edwin Kiagbodo Clark OFR, CON on Monday, 17th February 2025.
“The family appreciates your prayers at this time. Other details will be announced later by the family.”
