Drama As Three Suspected Kidnappers Are Caught And Beaten By Angry Mob In Lagos Estate

The second suspect, Ifeanyi from Anambra State, said he lives in Ijesha, while the third suspect, Sodiq from Kwara State, claimed to reside in Surulere.

Three suspected kidnappers were apprehended and beaten by residents of Victory Estate in Ago Palace, Lagos State, after allegedly attempting an abduction.

In a video obtained trending online, one of the suspects, identified as Starling Emmanuel from Imo State, confessed that he and his gang had come to the estate for a kidnapping operation.

Emmanuel, who resides near Community Bus Stop, admitted to leading the foiled attempt.

The second suspect, Ifeanyi from Anambra State, said he lives in Ijesha, while the third suspect, Sodiq from Kwara State, claimed to reside in Surulere.

The trio was confronted by angry residents who first dragged them into a gutter before they were subjected  to beatings while questioning their intentions.

Meanwhile, during their interrogation, the suspects admitted that Emmanuel had invited them for the failed kidnapping operation. When asked if he was the gang leader, Emmanuel repeatedly responded, "Yes, sir."

However, residents sternly warned them never to return to the estate for criminal activities or make any attempt to kidnap ever again.

Attempts by SaharaReporters to reach Lagos State Police spokesperson, DSP Benjamin Hundeyin, for comments were unsuccessful as he did not respond to calls or messages.
