He was said to have been killed at Opomulero Street in Owo, Owo Local Government Area of Ondo State.
Some hoodlums have killed a newly admitted student of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo (RUGIPO), in Ondo State.
The deceased simply identified simply as Oluwaseun was in the Department of Mass Communication.
He was said to have been killed at Opomulero Street in Owo, Owo Local Government Area of Ondo State.
The deceased was said to have barely spent a month on campus before he was killed.
It was gathered that he was the the class representative and also a musician.
According to a source: “He was a fresher who had spent just three to four weeks on campus. In fact, he was a course representative.
"It is sad that we lost him. Unfortunately, he was macheted.”
Spokesman for the institution, Mr. Samuel Ojo, described the incident as unfortunate.
Ondo Police spokesman, Funmilayo Odunlami, could not be reached for comments.
