Speaking during an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, Wunmi expressed deep concerns about the impact of Mohbad’s troubled past on their son, Liam.
Mohbad’s widow, Wunmi has revealed how Marlian Record boss, Naira Marley, and his associate, Sam Larry oppressed her late husband, Mohbad.
Recall that Mohbad tragically passed away in September 2023 under controversial circumstances.
His sudden demise sparked a nationwide outcry, with fans and activists demanding a thorough investigation.
Speaking during an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, Wunmi expressed deep concerns about the impact of Mohbad’s troubled past on their son, Liam.
In her words, “Naira Marley and Sam Larry cannot deny the fact that they made life unbearable for my husband. The videos online cannot be erased, and Liam will grow up to see them. I pray he doesn’t grow up to be traumatized because he will see how his dad was beaten. Even me, it breaks me, but at this point, I am fighting for my life and my son’s life.”
She further revealed that Mohbad’s father has supported Naira Marley and Sam Larry, which she believes has hindered the quest for true justice.
“Mohbad’s dad has been on Naira Marley’s side. He is speaking for them and trying to save them. Up till now, Justice for Mohbad has not been gotten, and the justice Mohbad’s dad is looking for is different from the justice the public is looking for,” she added.
Despite ongoing legal proceedings and public pressure, Wunmi believes true justice is yet to be served.
