I Don't Believe In Replacing Your Father's Name After Marriage - Emir Of Kano's Daughter-in-law, Sultana Nazif Says

Sultana, who disclosed this in a question and answer session with her followers on Wednesday night, February 19, 2025, said she doesn't believe in women replacing their father's name after marriage.

Sultana Nazif, the new daughter-in-law of the Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II, has revealed that she would not take her husband's name, rather she would stick with her maiden name.

The 24-year-old daughter of Senator Suleiman Nazif from Bauchi and Emir Sanusi's son, Ashraf Adam, got married in August 2024.

Sultana, who disclosed this in a question and answer session with her followers on Wednesday night, February 19, 2025, said she doesn't believe in women replacing their father's name after marriage.
