A Nigerian lawmaker with the lower chamber of the National Assembly has been flown abroad for immediate treatment after he accidentally shot himself.

Mohammed Gudaji Kazaure, a member of the House of Representatives, has accidentally shot himself on the foot while fidgeting with his pistol, The Authroity reports.
It was reliably gathered that the accidental discharge occurred a few days ago in his Kano residence when his cocked pistol accidentally went off and hit his foot.
According to Daily Nigerian, a source close to the lawmaker revealed that the bullet damaged Hon. Kazaure’s three toes, and were removed at an Abuja hospital.
Hon. Kazaure is currently receiving medical attention in Dubai, UAE.
