The President of Coscharis Group, Cosmas Maduka, has advised women to marry a man that is financially stable.
While appearing on the Mic On podcast, the business magnate stated that money is important in a marriage.
He stated that if a woman marries a man without a job and plans for his life, she would suffer.
The host, Seun Okinbaloye pointed out that many girls insist men who don't earn up to a certain amount of money per month and who don't own cars should not approach them.
He asked Cosmas what he has to say about it.
Mr Maduka responded: "Seun, it's finding the middle of the road, because that is also important.
"There are ladies who jump at a man because he say, 'I'll marry you. I love you.' Will you eat love?
"I told ladies, I say, 'if you marry a man who has no job because he speaks in tongues, you're not spiritual.'
"I do not encourage ladies to marry a man that has no plan for his life.
"The first thing I said, minimum, he must have a two or three bedrooms apartment where he's living. He must tell you how much he earns every month. You're not going to live by faith with her."
He added that when he was ready to get married, he did not take his wife to live in his parents' house, instead he ensured he got a three-bedroom house because he knew he had plans to get married.
"That's part of the maturity," he added.
He further stated that he was already working and making enough money to take care of a family before he decided to get married.
