Recall that Trump elected the tech billionaire as the head of DOGE to ensure efficiency in the work of America’s ministries and agencies.
Dino Melaye, a former Kogi West Senator, has described the head of the United States, US, Department of Government Efficiency, DOGE, Elon Musk is America’s shadow president.
Melaye said Musk is also operating as the US Vice President.
Posting on X, Melaye wrote: “Elon Musk is the real shadow president and operating vice president of the United States of America.”
Recall that Trump elected the tech billionaire as the head of DOGE to ensure efficiency in the work of America’s ministries and agencies.
DOGE under Musk leadership has continued its cost-cutting efforts across US federal agencies, including health, education, the Treasury Department and defence.
Musk recently threatened to fire US workers who fail to respond to their emails.
On Wednesday, President Trump had his first cabinet meeting since his inauguration with Musk, who is his adviser in attendance.
At the meeting, Trump tapped Musk to speak on the progress made on DOGE cost-cutting efforts.
Musk said, “I actually just call myself a humble tech support hero.
“As crazy as it sounds, that is almost a literal description of the work of the DOGE team: what they are doing is helping fix the government computer systems.”
