It was reported that some high-profile gang leaders overpowered two police officers, DSP Ali Pindar and DSP Jantuku Philibus, leading to their unfortunate d3aths.
No fewer than six suspects have been arrested by the Yobe State Police Command in connection with the alleged killing of two police officers at Kolere village in Fune Local Government Area of the state.
DC Operations of the Command, DCP Abdu Abubakar Ozo, disclosed this to newsmen shortly after a routine State Security Council meeting, presided over by the state Deputy Governor, Idi Barde Guban.

Briefing newsmen, DCP Ozo said five to six suspects that have connections or links to the k!lling of the two police officers have been arrested, adding that the suspects are in the State CID for further investigation.
He added that the state command had deployed more operatives searching for more of those involved in the k!lling of the officers.
