Eric Chelle Unveils Super Eagles Squad For 2026 WCQ Against Rwanda, Zimbabwe (Full List)

Home-based stars Papa Mustapha, Kayode Bankole, and Ifeanyi Emmanuel Onyebuchi have received call-ups.

 
Eric Chelle, Super Eagles new head coach has made public his first-ever provisional squad.
 
He called up 35 players ahead of this month’s 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and Zimbabwe.
 
Captain Ahmed Musa returns to the squad and is joined by assistant captain William Troost-Ekong and midfielder Joe Aribo.
 
Chelle has also included six new faces, blending experience with fresh talent.
 
Home-based stars Papa Mustapha, Kayode Bankole, and Ifeanyi Emmanuel Onyebuchi have received call-ups.
 
The Eagles will play away in Kigali on March 21 before hosting Zimbabwe on March 25.
