Abia State Commissioner For Labour And Productivity, Onwuma Is Dead

Onwuma, who hailed from Ihie, Ugwunagbo LGA of the State, died on Monday at the age of 61 after a brief illness, leaving his wife and four children.

Mr Sunny Nwanganga Onwuma, the Abia State Commissioner for Labour and Productivity and immediate past Commissioner for Transport, is dead.

Onwuma, who hailed from Ihie, Ugwunagbo LGA of the State, died on Monday at the age of 61 after a brief illness, leaving his wife and four children.

The sad development was made known by the Commissioner for Information, Okey Kanu.

According to the message, “Abia State government extends its deepest condolences to his family, friends, and the people of Abia State.

“We fervently pray that God Almighty grants his soul eternal rest and gives his family the strength to bear this irreparable loss.”


Kanu said that the burial arrangement of the late Commissioner would be announced by his family.
