Unknown gunmen attacked a pharmacy in Agyaragu, Jenkwe Development Area of Obi LGA, Nasarawa State, shooting a young lady and abducting the proprietor along with two of his salesboys.

A source explained that the gunmen invaded the popular ‘Emmy Gold Pharmacy Nigeria Limited’, shooting sporadically and gunning down a young lady who was a passerby.
According to the source, “The gunmen were well armed. Their shooting scared everybody. They forced the owner of the pharmacy and two of his boys into the bush.”
The source called on the Nasarawa State governor to increase security presence in Agyaragu community and surrounding areas. He also appealed to security agencies to implement effective measures to prevent kidnapping and ensure the safe release of abducted individuals.
Efforts to reach the spokesperson of the Nasarawa State Police Command to confirm the incident were not successful.
