A South African lawyer, Akani Mongwane, has lamented about the high rate of divorce among couples.

According to the lawyer, most of the divorce cases he is handling involve couples who have been married for 3 or 4 years.

She stated that it is not worth staying in a marriage where there is no love, respect, compassion, commitment and communication.

“Most divorce cases that I'm handling, most couples have been married for less than 3 or 4 years. It's so bad. Marriages do not last any more. Currently I have more than 400 divorce cases that I'm handling. But irregardless, it is not worth it to stay in a marriage where there's no love, respect, compassion, commitment and communication,”
he wrote in a Facebook post on Sunday.
