Omg! One Killed, Residents Flee As Fulani Herdsmen Attack Plateau Community

Weapons-wielding Fulani herdsmen have attacked one of the villages in Plateau State with a death case recorded and others injured.

  
Residents of Zim community in Ropp District of Barkin Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau State have fled their homes following an attack by suspected herdsmen on the community.

A Punch correspondent gathered that the herdsmen at about 7:30 pm on Tuesday ambushed three people at Zim community, killing one person and wounding two others.

The victim was identified as Mr. Dazi Bulus, 28, while Mr. Yohanna Gyang, 26, was critically injured. Mr. Choji Pam escaped with minor injuries.

The Executive Director of Stefanos Foundation, Mr. Mark Lipdo, said the villagers believe that the attack was part of a recent rumoured plan by herdsmen to begin attacking the areas in Northern parts of Plateau.

He said that Fulani herdsmen have similarly all fled their homes in the neighbourhood.
