An unnamed woman has fallen victim to domestic violence in the hands of her husband after turning down his sexual advances.

A social media user has posted graphic pictures of his sister being battered by her husband over a flimsy disagreement over lovemaking.
The report was made on a popular Nigerian forum online without details into the identity of the married couple or how the event played out.
The post reads:
"See How My Sister Was Bartered By Her Husband
"A man did this to his wife all because she disallowed him to have intercourse with her. I don't usually post on nairaland but I enjoy reading the contents of this forum, and that is why I felt it is the right place to bring this"
The menace of domestic violence in marriages has been on the increase of late with the
saga of Lekan Shonde of Egbeda area of Lagos who is currently being investigated for the death of his wife who he accused of infidelity.
