Shocking! Popular Nigerian Music Artiste Passes Away after Brief Illness (Photo)

The Nigerian entertainment industry has been thrown into a state of mourning following the demise of a prominent figure who shockingly passed away.

The late Olumide Awise
 
Fuji Musician Olumide Awise is dead. The Agege, Lagos based Fuji artist died in his home at Agbado after a brief illness.

This happened at the early hours of Wednesday this week and has since been buried according to Islamic rites.

He rose to limelight through the popular Agege Allstar album ‘New Generation’ which he featured all then rookies in fuji music; Nurudeen Ajani Segun Opontisun, Lt. Sunny T Adesokan and Oyama Azeez.
 
Also well known for his Fuji Lori Reggae album in which he featured King of Fuji, Wasiu Alabi Pasuma.
