Despite the arising tension in the House of Reps, the All Progress Congress (APC) has stood its ground on the list sent to the Senate President on and the Speaker of the House of Representatives over the choice of principal officers of the National Assembly.
The party says it stands by the list despite Saraki’s choice of Senator Ali Ndume as the senate Majority Leader.
In a statement released by the APC National Secretary, Alhaji Mai Mala Buni, the party condemned the fracas that ensued among the legislators on Thursday, June 25 at the floor of the House.
According to the communiqué, the APC National Caucus, Board of Trustees (BOT) and NEC will convene in a matter of days to discuss the developments in the National Assembly.
