Bandits Abduct Police Constable And Two Others In Katsina

The bandits ambushed the vehicle and forcibly led all three occupants, including the police constable, into the forest.

A Police Constable identified as Nura Ibrahim (F/No 545490), serving at the Danmusa Division in Katsina State, has been kidnapped by suspected bandits near Yantumaki Forest.

Intelligence sources told security analyst, Zagazola Makama that the incident occurred on Tuesday evening, April 15, 2025 along the Danmusa–Yantumaki road, when the assailants intercepted a Navy Blue Golf vehicle with registration number DMS 238, in which the officer was traveling alongside two other civilians.

According to local sources, the bandits ambushed the vehicle and forcibly led all three occupants, including the police constable, into the forest.

Security authorities have since launched a joint search and rescue operation, while the abandoned vehicle was recovered and taken to the Yantumaki Outpost.
