JP2025: Pretty Mike Claims Iyabo Ojo Begged Him To Reduce Antics

Popular Nigerian socialite, Pretty Mike of Lagos, who attended the wedding of Priscilla Ojo and her Tanzanian husband, Juma Jux, revealed that the mother of the bride, Iyabo Ojo, personally pleaded with him to tone down his signature theatrics at the event.

In a flamboyant Instagram post, Pretty Mike claimed that both Iyabo and her partner, Paulo Okoye, reached out to him ahead of the event, urging him to keep things low-key to avoid unsettling their Tanzanian in-laws or upstaging the ceremony.

He wrote:

“My sister, the Bride @its.priscy said I should bring the heat tonite… The Bride’s Mother @iyaboojofespris saw me some days back and begged me not to come in a wired way, that her Inlaw’s thinks she is wacko enough.

Bride’s mother’s sugar daddy aka Obim @pauloo2104 called and ask me to tune it down small, but I should give dem a show.

Some of my sisters that are on the train are rooting for me to bring a fresh new attention to the atmosphere aka scatter everywhere as e dey hot… While some are using style to say, Abeg don’t chase our Tanzania inlaw’s away.”

He rounded off the post with a tongue-in-cheek welcome message:

“Dear, Tanzania Inlaw’s, u did not just marry our sister and daughter, u married an entire nation, u will have to take us as we come…”

Famous for his outrageous appearances—ranging from walking with chained human “pets” to arriving at events in coffin-themed entourages—Pretty Mike has made a name for himself as Lagos’ king of dramatic entrances.
