Security analyst, Bakatsine, who confirmed the incident, said the attack occurred while the town’s popular night market was underway.
A prominent businessman, Alhaji Rabilu, has been killed, two persons were injured, and one other was abducted by suspected bandits in Faruruwa town in the Shanono Local Government Area of Kano State.
It was gathered that the gunmen attacked the community on Thursday night, April 17, 2025.
Security analyst, Bakatsine, who confirmed the incident, said the attack occurred while the town’s popular night market was underway.
“Last night, bandits attacked Faruruwa town in Shanono LGA of Kano State. They killed a well-known businessman, Alhaji Rabilu, injured two people and abducted one person. The attack happened while the town’s night market was underway,” he wrote.
