reported it here late yesterday that the embattled Senate President, Bukola Saraki, convened an emergency meeting aimed at brokering peace between the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and the President Buhari-led federal government over the ongoing nationwide strike.
Updating Nigerians on the outcome of the meeting which was held at the National Assembly, Abuja yesterday, May 19th, the senate president took to his official facebook page and wrote, "We just wrapped up a meeting with the National Leadership of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), led by Comrade Ayuba Philibus Wabba, to listen to the concerns of Nigerian workers and to discuss ways of resolving the current strike action."
