Tribunal Upholds FCCPC’s $220m Fine Against Meta

Ijagwu said the tribunal also awarded the commission $35,000 to cover the investigation costs.

 
A fine imposed by the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission, FCCPC on Meta has been upheld.
 
Nigeria's Competition and Consumer Protection Tribunal upheld the $220 million fine imposed on Meta Platforms Incorporated by the Federal Government.
 
The Director for Corporate Affairs of FCCPC, Ondaje Ijagwu, made this announcement in a statement on Friday.
 
Ijagwu said the tribunal also awarded the commission $35,000 to cover the investigation costs.
