A medical doctor, Dr Babatunde, has warned people to stop coming to the hospital to carry out virginity tests on women.

He went on to state that the absence of a hymen does not prove a woman is not a virgin because there are things other than s3x that can perforate the hymen.
He wrote: "Virginity is a social construct used to “shame” women. How do we measure the virginity of men?
"I am not encouraging promiscuity but to stop it, we need to give same energy to both genders because the women didn’t sleep with themselves.
"NB: Stop coming to the hospital to look for virginity test because there are so many things that remove the hymen that isn’t s3x."
