In the viral video, the woman who was crying alleged that her husband stood and watched his mother assault her despite being pregnant with their child.

A video of a pregnant woman expressing frustration after she was allegedly assaulted by her mother-in-law in the presence of her husband and children has surfaced online.

In the viral video, the woman who was crying alleged that her husband stood and watched his mother assault her despite being pregnant with their child.

She claimed the said assault happened in the presence of their young children.

‘’Is it a crime to be married? saying that I should pack out of my husband's house. You brought your mother to come and hit me…me that I am pregnant! Asking a pregnant woman to leave the house in the presence of my children. The mother is beating me and he is watching it.''

The distraught wife could be heard asking her husband to ‘carry his mother and go.’

‘’Carry your mother and go where? I am sleeping here'' the supposed mother in-law roared in the background

The mother in-law could also be heard telling the woman ''Get out of my son's house.''

‘’Is that how they pursued you out of your husband's house'' the pregnant woman fired back

The pregnant woman insisted she is not leaving and asked her husband to leave her alone.

A young child  could be heard telling her pregnant mum ''It's enough''

The video has sparked a debate about domestic violence.
