The actress and filmmaker revealed that after losing her mother and going through intense personal struggles, she felt completely overwhelmed.

Even though she'd always believed in therapy, she never actually submitted to it.

Why? In her words, “I was always trying to be strong.”

Between societal expectations, family pressure, and personal grief, she found herself breaking down with no one to truly talk to. And even though she was suffering, she hesitated to seek professional help.
