Isah, who claimed to have emerged as NANS president during the national convention on February 27, alleged that Seyi disrupted the inauguration ceremony held on Tuesday in Abuja and threatened to have him killed.

A factional president of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Atiku Abubakar Isah, has again accused Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, of planning his abduction, stripping him n3ked and coercing him into resigning from his position.

He also accused Seyi of interfering in the association’s affairs and attempting to silence him through violence and bribery

Isah, who claimed to have emerged as NANS president during the national convention on February 27, alleged that Seyi disrupted the inauguration ceremony held on Tuesday in Abuja and threatened to have him killed.

“Seyi has just ordered for me to be assassinated after the plea to buy me with money failed,” he said. “Before the inauguration, he tried to use the Senior Special Assistant on Students and Youth Affairs to lure me into silence with a ₦100 million bribe. I refused, and that led to the attack.”

According to Isah, Seyi arrived at the inauguration venue with a large number of security personnel and ordered them to shut down the event. He claimed that moments after Senator Ibrahim Shekarau began his speech, thugs loyal to Seyi stormed the hall wielding guns and cutlasses.

“They stabbed people, chased others away, and stole phones and valuables,” he alleged. “They beat people and injured many. Nigerians should beg Seyi to spare my life.”

Isah further claimed that the attackers, led by one Ladoja, physically assaulted him and took him to an unknown location. He also alleged that Senator Shekarau and former Kogi State governor, Captain Idris Wada, were attacked but managed to escape with the help of their security teams.

As of now, there has been no response from Seyi Tinubu or any of the officials mentioned.
