25 Women Abducted On Their Way To A Wedding In Zamfara

According to BBC Hausa, the women were reportedly on their way to attend a wedding ceremony when they were intercepted and taken away by the attackers.

Suspected bandits have reportedly abducted no fewer than 25 women in Kurmi town, located in Maru Local Government Area of Zamfara State.

Several others sustained injuries during the attack, which occurred in the night.

Both attacks have caused fear and anxiety among residents in the affected communities.

Zamfara State has been experiencing a series of violent attacks in recent years, with rural areas often targeted by armed groups.
