Daniel Bwala, the Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Media and Policy Communication, has alleged that some associates of Peter Obi, the 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), are in talks to join the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Bwala stated this during an interview on TVC on Monday, May 6, that one of Obi’s key handlers has already joined the APC, while another is currently in talks with party leaders. He also disclosed that one of Obi’s media aides has expressed interest in defecting to the ruling party.
“Governors are joining our party independently, but what’s more significant is that key figures from the last presidential election are also coming in,” Bwala said.
''For example, one of Peter Obi’s handlers is already with us, and another is currently in discussions. Even one of his media spokesmen is considering it.”
