Revealing why he was arrested, VeryDarkMan disclosed that the EFCC suspected him of involvement in money laundering.
Deji Adeyanju, the Nigerian activist lawyer, has stated that VeryDarkMan’s phone and car are yet to be released to him despite being granted bail.
Recall that VeryDarkMan, a popular social media critic, was released from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC)’s detention on Wednesday.
Revealing why he was arrested, VeryDarkMan disclosed that the EFCC suspected him of involvement in money laundering.
Giving an update about his bail condition, his lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, revealed that his phone and car are still with the agency.
“Despite everything that has happened, I still like the EFCC Chairman. And there was no condition for VDM’s bail.
"I was the one who applied for his bail, and I made an undertaking to produce him anytime he is needed. His phone and car are still with EFCC.”
Recall that VeryDarkMan was arrested on Friday after visiting GTBank with his mother to complain about an alleged deduction from her account.
