Man Cries Out After EFCC Operatives Broke Into His Compound at 3am

According to him, he was fast asleep when he suddenly began hearing footsteps and commotion outside.

 
A Nigerian man has expressed shock on social media while narrating how operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) allegedly stormed his apartment complex around 3 a.m.
 
He stated that the incident caused panic in his area, forcing occupants flee.
 
X user @ChuksEricE shared the video of the man recounting the incident.
 
According to him, he was fast asleep when he suddenly began hearing footsteps and commotion outside.
 
Moments later, he said he saw people running and jumping over the fence in a bid to escape.
 
He added that he heard EFCC operatives shouting at their men to pursue those attempting to flee and arrest them.
 
“Today, I just had one of the most traumatizing moments of my life. My hands are still shaking,” he said. “As a youth in this country, I’m not okay. Try your best not to get involved in anything illegal.”
 
He added;
 
“If I wasn’t making a living legally, I would probably be in EFCC custody right now,” he said, adding that he saw armed men outside his window and knew instantly it was a serious situation.
