After Chioma Akpotha’s 2025 AMVCA win for Best Lead Actress in a Yoruba film, Seven Doors, Nigerian actor, Jide Awobona took to Instagram to share a heartfelt message promoting unity.

“Chioma’s win is a reminder that we should love one another as humans and stop the racial or ethnic discrimination.

A Yoruba movie got her the Best Lead Actress AMVCA! He also wrote in the caption of his post “Congratulations sis”.
