Natasha Arrives Court As Judge Hears Akpabio’s Contempt Claims

At the resumed hearing on Monday, Senator Natasha’s legal team, led by Jibrin Okutekpa, told the court that the matter was slated for hearing as previously adjourned.

 
Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has arrived at the Federal High Court in Abuja ahead of the hearing of the claim by the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio.
 
She arrived on Tuesday to give her own side of the story after being accused of flouting the court order.
 
Justice Binta Nyako had, on Monday, fixed today, Tuesday for the hearing of the contempt claim by the Senate president against Akpoti-Uduaghan.
 
Justice Nyako also said she would hear the earlier contempt charge filed by Natasha against Akpabio, the Senate and others over allegations of disobedience to an earlier court order.
 
At the resumed hearing on Monday, Senator Natasha’s legal team, led by Jibrin Okutekpa, told the court that the matter was slated for hearing as previously adjourned.
 
According to him, the court had asked parties in the suit to file relevant documents, which they had done, and that they were ready to proceed.
