Augusta’s mother mourned her demise, noting that her boyfriend must join her in the afterlife.
The late mother of Augusta Onuwabhagbe, Mrs. Cordelia Okonye has taken to social media to mourn her daughter 22 months after her demise.
Augusta was killed by her boyfriend, Benjamin Best a.k.a Killaboi. He confessed to killing her in 2023.
Despite his confession, Killaboi fled Nigeria. He was later arrested in Sierra Leone in October 2023.
In April 2025, Nigerian authorities, in collaboration with INTERPOL and Qatari officials, successfully extradited Killaboi back to Nigeria to face murder charges.
Augusta’s mother took to social media to mourn her demise.
She wrote:
“22 months today Benjamin killed you. You are still fighting because you said that if anyone kill you, you will kill your own back. He must join you my baby.”
